Privacy policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026.
This policy covers skadarstudio.com, the website of Skadar Studio LLC, an Arizona company. It explains what the site collects when you visit and what you can do about it.
Summary
The site has no forms or accounts and stores no personal data itself. The outside services below handle data about visits and about how the site shows up in Google Search.
Google Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, a Google service, to count visits and see which pages people read. When cookies are allowed, it sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>. They last up to two years and let Analytics tell a returning visitor from a new one.
With cookies allowed, Google Analytics collects:
- the pages you view and how long you stay
- the page or site that sent you here
- approximate location (country and city), worked out from your IP address; Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses
- device type, browser, operating system, and screen size
- interactions it measures automatically, such as scrolling and clicks on links that leave the site
Google Analytics keeps event data for 2 months and user data for 14 months, then deletes it.
The site uses Google Consent Mode. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics cookies stay off until you choose Accept on the cookie bar. Everywhere else they are on unless you choose Decline.
When cookies are off, Google Analytics sets none. Google may still receive a signal that a page was viewed, with no cookie or identifier attached, which it uses to estimate overall traffic.
To change your choice, use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page. To block Google Analytics on every site you visit, use Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights
The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and Vercel Speed Insights to measure how fast pages load. Neither sets cookies.
Web Analytics tells visits apart with a hash of the incoming request that is discarded after 24 hours. Skadar Studio sees only totals: pages, referring sites, countries, browsers, operating systems, and device types. Speed Insights records load-time measurements along with the page, the device type, and the browser.
Your cookie choice
The site saves your Accept or Decline choice in your browser’s local storage so the cookie bar does not ask again. It stays on your device and is not sent anywhere. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel receives every request to the site and logs it to run the service and keep it secure. A log entry can include your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the address requested, and the time. Vercel keeps these logs for a limited period set by its service plans.
Google Search Console
Skadar Studio uses Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search: which searches show it, how often, and how often people click through. This data comes from Google Search as totals. Search Console adds nothing to the site and does not track visitors on it.
If you email nik@skadarstudio.com, Skadar Studio receives your address and your message, uses them only to reply, and keeps them until they are deleted.
Your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time with the Cookie settings link, or delete this site’s cookies and saved data in your browser settings. To ask what data relates to you, or to have it deleted, email nik@skadarstudio.com.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13.
